Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand Science New Zealand Full time

This is a hybrid role, and we have offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch so can be flexible with location.

We are Toitū Envirocare (Enviro-Mark Solutions Limited), and chances are you've already interacted with our brands— Toitū carbonzero, Toitū carbonreduce, or Enviro-Mark.

You may have enjoyed carbonzero certified Yealands Wine or Steinlager beer, eaten Enviro-Mark Certified Abe's Bagels or used carbonzero certified ecotricity electricity, cleaned using Enviro-Mark Certified Eco Store products or at least know friends or family who have.

You may have wondered at times how organisations like Kathmandu, The Warehouse Group, Canterbury University and Westpac manage their carbon emissions.

The short answer is, it's our people.

We are proudly New Zealand's leading carbon reduction solution; however, our work isn't done yet Our aim is to encourage more organisations to start their journey with us to make New Zealand and the world more sustainable.

Intrigued?

The market for our services is
growing rapidly as climate action has started to become mainstream, catalysed by a number of external factors.

As a result of both internal and external drivers, we've undertaken a strategic review and developed a comprehensive business case for transformation.

As Toitū enters its next phase of growth and digital transformation, this role will support our P&C team and activities, manage our payroll administration, and also do interesting projects.

We are in the process of decoupling our P&C services from our parent company and setting them up in-house.

Key Responsibilities include:

Workforce data management and reporting, payroll administration, managing and improving our resourcing and onboarding processes, and providing advice and support on our processes and systems.

About You

If you have high personal standards and experience in administering a payroll system (Datacom) for a large company, then this is the role for you.

We can expose you to a more cutting-edge People and Culture experience.

These are the qualities we will be looking for you to show us throughout the resourcing process:

integrity and trust, composure and patience, a supreme attention to detail, well organised, able to make quality decisions, and someone who takes great delight in delivering on time.

This will be a fantastic career opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a busy team making a difference to New Zealand.

Why Toitū Envirocare?**Toitū Envirocare is New Zealand's leading provider of environmental certification. We help organisations in New Zealand and internationally to accurately measure, manage, and minimise their carbon footprints and environmental impacts. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research, our clients include many iconic brands.

What we offer

As an employee of Toitū Envirocare, you will work with passionate and talented people in a caring and flexible environment; we have good staff benefits, and the opportunity for personal growth and career development.
