About You

  • A relevant engineering degree is essential and experience in maintenance management will be highly regarded.
  • Handson & collaborative leadership skills,
  • Experience in the management of people, knowledge of HR practices, dispute resolution, and discipline.
  • Experience in a fastmoving heavy engineering plant
  • Knowledge of
    SHEQ regulations and ability to drive safety improvements in a team environment.

About the Role

Supervising a close-knit, motivated team of trades, your main duties would involve ensuring that the plant resource levels are maintained, monitoring the condition of plant and equipment and ensuring that repairs and maintenance work are undertaken.


  • Ensuring preventative maintenance programming and scheduling is carried out
  • Monitor the condition of plant and equipment and ensure repairs and maintenance work are undertaken in accordance with guidelines
  • Maintaining plant resource levels
  • Monitoring maintenance expenditure for the site to ensure costs are maintained at a reasonable level
  • Ensuring accurate invoicing volumes are maintained, via weighbridge data
  • Liaising with freight companies including required paperwork
  • Prepare for and effectively facilitate regular team meetings
