We are looking for a motivated, passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team.


We offer a community based social work service to children, young people and their whānau/families responding to health, disability, behavioural, educational and social needs.

We also provide a daily in-reach service to the Rangatira Paediatric Ward at Waitakere Hospital.


You will work as part of a Social Work team and alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team with a model of care that is strength based and child focused.

We are looking for a Social Worker with the following skills:

  • Child Protection knowledge and experience
  • Awareness of the health, disability and social services sector.
  • Be familiar with the developmental and / or health needs of children and young people.
  • Awareness of the support required by whānau who have a child or a young person with a disability or a health need.

In order to be successful in this role:

  • You will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication, problem solving skills and flexibility
  • You must be a New Zealand registered Social Worker
  • Full NZ driver's licence
