About the role | Mō te tūnga
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Supported Living team in Masterton.

This is stimulating and meaningful work where you can be creative and make every day interesting in ways that are important to others.

Through Supported Living you will support people with intellectual disabilities who are living in their own homes to:

  • Manage and learn new daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning and managing money
  • Meet new people and make friends
  • Keep in touch with family and friends
  • Join community activities (e.g. sports and art)
  • Look for a job
  • Access community services
  • Supporting people to achieve their goals and aspirations



PLEASE NOTE:
this is very much a part time role with a work schedule of around 10 hours per week. The hours you will be need to be available to work are mainly between 8am and 6pm. There is also SOME weekend work involved.
