About the Job
Our Waikato team is the best in the business when it comes to maintaining open spaces in the community. We are looking to recruit someone who is reliable and highly motivated.

You will utilise your gardening experience and relevant qualifications to carry out a broad range of works within the role.


Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for:

  • Ongoing maintenance of gardens, parks and reserves
  • Working on a reactive and/or scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications
  • Annual bedding displays
  • Basic weeding
  • Line trimming
  • Mulching

Requirements:

  • Full Class 2 Driver Licence
  • Experience in garden maintenance or relevant industry
  • A relevant national certificate in Horticulture is desired
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines
  • A strong emphasis on health and safety
  • Ability to work alone and within the wider team
  • Passion for the local community
  • Right to work in New Zealand
