Can you fly kites? Do you enjoy making people smile? Then we want you The Hamilton Gardens Kite Day is part of the Matariki Celebrations for 2024, giving the community a chance to fly colorful kites in a beautiful setting.

The goal is to encourage and support children into getting their kite into the air, filling the sky with color, and generally discovering the wonder of kite-flying. It's all about having fun

Requirements:

Good mobility outdoors
Fit enough to get kites in the air (you may need to stand in for the wind)
Good problem solver
Good with large groups and a lot of noise.

Time commitment:

10:30am-2:30pm Sunday 14 July
