The Cancer Support Psychology & Social Work team at Middlemore Hospital is seeking a Social Worker to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their whanau.

This is a key role within our cancer services.


This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive Social Work service to individuals, and their families through the provision of psychosocial assessments and supportive interventions, across community settings.

There is opportunity to contribute to staff education, service development and research initiatives.

Essential
Registered Social Worker with SWRB and a current APC
Previous experience in health social work
A high standard of report writing
Full, clean driver's licence
