What's on offer?
Optic Security Group (OSG) have an opportunity for a Senior Security Technician to provide and be responsible for performing skilled technical work. You will sit across installation, maintenance, repair, modification and testing of solutions for data, voice and security systems.

You will lead and work with a small team of skilled Security Technicians across a broad spectrum of sites. The team works on developing, installing, and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, and CCTV systems. You will use a variety of commercial security systems including Gallagher, Integrity, ICT, as well as a range of CCTV systems.

This role will also see you work with a variety of clients, from top tier security clearance businesses to your local down the way. No matter the client, keeping them involved and informed at all stages is key, as is ensuring not only industry specific standards are adhered to, but client standards and practices as well.

What you'll bring
As a Senior Security Technician, this won't be your first rodeo You'll have the experience to back the skills needed, having worked as a Security Technician for a while now. Installing, repairing, wiring, and testing, you know what to do and how to do may even have your own tools of the trade ready for not, I'm sure we can help you out there.

  • Valid and current driver's license is essential – you'll be hitting the road to visit client sites.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Electronic Security.
  • Knowledge and experience with Integrity and Gallagher security systems and product.
  • Analytical capability and the ability to comprehend and solve technical problems and issues.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, time management and customer service skills.
  • Currently have, or the ability to gain a Security Licence.
