Do you have:

  • A planning degree recognised by the New Zealand Planning Institute.
2+ years resource consent/planning experience in New Zealand.

  • A good working knowledge of district and regional planning and consenting.
Experience in Council, stakeholder, iwi, and community liaison and engagement.
An understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

We're particularly keen to hear from you if you're based in the Waikato region, client-focused, have the ability to be logical, detail-oriented and highly motivated.

You will have a keen interest in RMA planning and, most importantly, have a willingness to work collaboratively to deliver outstanding projects.

Site visits could be anywhere across New Zealand, so a willingness to travel is preferred in this role as we're a national consultancy, and site visits may be off the beaten track.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a mixture of projects, including policy development, undertaking planning due diligence, assisting local councils with processing resource consents and acquiring resource consents for a range of development projects.

Demonstrated experience in local government and/or private sector is definitely preferred.
