The Role

As an Investigator, you'll be responsible for investigating and producing reports on a wide range of cases and complaints regarding real estate conduct.

In more complex cases, you'll support the Senior Investigators.

Our investigators also assist in the design and delivery of proactive compliance campaigns and interventions designed to prevent, detect and deter harm and promote and protect the interests of consumers engaging in real estate transactions.

About You
Ideally, you'll have solid investigation experience, and be ready to join a team of experienced investigators. You must have complaint handling or compliance experience and Knowledge and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You'll manage your own case load and will need to be resilient, methodical, and capable of maintaining impartiality.

As part of this team, you'll be receptive to having your work peer reviewed by senior staff and our in-house legal team who you'll work closely alongside.

At times you may be required to travel within New Zealand to conduct investigations and to meet with various parties.

You will need a full clean driver licence.
Familiarity with the real estate environment and experience within a regulatory environment would be a real advantage.
