We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to support the provision of efficient imaging radiology services across our Wellington region in our Wellington region to step up into a Senior CT Technologist role.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead/assist the CT team, specifically in the provision of providing a high-quality CT service.
  • Contribute to protocol development with continued process review in conjunction with our CT Service Lead.
  • High levels of communication and relationship management with local referrers and patients.
  • Provide technical advice to both radiologist and technical staff to ensure an effective outcome for the patient.
  • Responsibility for internal CT training as required.
  • Fully participate in the CT, CT Oncall roster and PET CT with the ability to work in xray as required.

To be successfully appointed to this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of relevant CT medical imaging techniques.
  • Knowledge of current trends in quality assurance protocols.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practice CT Imaging.
  • An understanding of the requirements of clinical and professional clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the responsibilities of a CT Technologist in the safe delivery imaging procedures.
  • An appreciation of medicolegal responsibilities in the delivery of Imaging Services.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and a current annual practicing certificate.
