Hold a current Full NZ drivers licence

Be really keen to advance yourself and learn from experienced Glaziers
Enjoy working in a team environment but have the ability to 'go for it' on your own
Tradesman/craftsman attitude towards completing your work to a high standard within a commercially viable timeframe.

Strong work ethic with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Taking measurements, calculating, and planning material requirements
The right to work in NZ
Clean and tidy appearance at all times.
Knowledge/willingness to learn or experience in glass, building or aluminium joinery

The Role:

  • Machining of timber joinery for Retro-fit double glazing, install IGU Units and fit timber beads.
This may include timber repairs/alterations to joinery due to rot or customer requirements.

  • Accurately set out/install frameless glass showers and balustrades
  • Drive to customer's premises and install glass into residential and commercial buildings in a safe, profitable and effective way
  • Machining of timber joinery for Retro-fit double glazing
  • Reglaze windows and doors (timber and aluminium) including hack outs/wet glazing as well as fit new joinery in existing buildings.

Typical jobs are completed in a single day and in most cases, we complete multiple jobs in one day.

Our work takes us all over Auckland providing great variety.
We get to see plenty of outstanding views of this beautiful city.
The role entails frequent lifting of glass units which are often heavy.

This is done in conjunction with one or more team members hence the requirement to 'work well with others' and be able to take direction.

*Successful applicants must be able to pass a urine drug screening test.
