Medsafe is the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority and is responsible for the regulation of therapeutic products in New Zealand.

The Medicines Control branch of Medsafe is responsible for regulating the supply chain of medicines and controlled drugs.

The Advisor, Medicines Control position conducts licensing, auditing, and drug abuse containment activities, contributing to public safety through regulating and maintaining the integrity of the supply chain of medicines and controlled drugs.

  • Experienced pharmacist, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Full drivers licence and ability to travel on a regular basis
  • A high level of professional integrity, selfmotivation, flexibility and responsiveness
