Seeking a café manager assistant for a cafe in Newmarket.

Main duties include:

  • Assist the café manager in managing the daily operation of the café;
  • Assist in planning and organizing special functions or events;
  • Liaising with kitchen to plan new and update existing menus;
  • Provide customer services according to business standards;
  • Deal with customer inquiries and complaints;
  • Assist in managing stock level, ordering and liaise with suppliers;
  • Assist in managing purchasing and pricing;
  • Assist in managing staff roster, control labour costs;
  • Assist in staff training;
  • Comply with health and safety regulations;

Requirements from you:

  • Café work experience is preferred but not necessary;
  • Morning start is a must;
  • Management skills;
  • Great communication and customer service skills;
  • A good team player;
  • Hands on and able to operate successfully in a high pressure environment
Other Job Details
- $ $32 per hour as per experience

  • Minimum 30 hours per week
