About the role

We are seeking an all allrounder Handy person to join our team, providing general services to our residents at our lovely Hillsborough Heights village in Hillsborough, Auckland. You will assist with the overall maintenance and upkeep of our village.

The role is working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm - 40 hours per week

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Providing general maintenance services to our residents in our Village.,
  • Tasks such as painting 'touch ups', fixing light bulbs and maintaining the grounds/gardens across the village
  • Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards are met and maintained on site
  • Take responsibility to liaise with residents daily to understand and problem solve any general maintenance issues on site

About you

Previous experience as a general handy person or in grounds maintenance will be highly advantageous.

Some things that will support your application:

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong focus on Health and Safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Customer centric approach - driven to deliver outstanding service to our residents.
