Primary Objectives:

To provide Electrical leadership of maintenance and CAPEX functions for our client. This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of preventative maintenance and site facilities to minimise unplanned downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by working collaboratively with the engineering team and contractors.

This is not a 24/7 plant, so this is a great opportunity to have a work-life balance in this field that no weekend work and the factory shuts down every day after 5pm.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

Plant Maintenance - preventative, unplanned, and project related. Planning and Implementing Capital Plan in conjunction with Operations Manager. Create close team with Site Engineer and external contractors to achieve maintenance goals whether electrical or mechanical. Site Security. Plant Energy Management. Calibrations of Plant equipment for Quality Systems requirements. Actively participate in company meetings and work to add value to the organisation. To project a positive and professional company image. Ensure all policies, procedures and business ethics codes are followed. Demonstrate commitment to health safety and the environment and always promote and work in a safe manner. Treat all staff and customers with respect and integrity. Maintenance and Improvement of current PLC systems Other duties as agreed.

Key Performance Indicators:

Minimised unplanned downtime due to maintenance issues. Electrical Maintenance budget targets met. Providing solutions to site electrical and PLC issues. Improve Health and Safety performance by controlling identified hazards. Effective management of contractors.

Qualifications:

Relevant Electrical Trade qualification

Experience:

Effective and efficient communication skills A solid record and understanding of plant maintenance requirements Plant equipment and system knowledge Strong time management skills Team orientated Ability to read plans and drawings Motivated and highly committed to achieving team maintenance and capital goals Experienced with contractor management Strong knowledge of how to reduce the health and safety risk profile of the facility Handling auditing requirements Have a "hands-on" approach Be self-motivated Computer literacy and proficiency
