Grocery Managers – New World Wanaka

New World Wanaka is looking for motivated and capable Grocery Managers to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy Grocery Department. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help drive team performance, maintain high merchandising standards, and ensure our customers enjoy a top-quality shopping experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the daily operations of a Grocery Department

• Working closely alongside the team to:

• ensure smooth and efficient workflows

• manage stock ordering, promotional planning, and inventory control
• ensure high standards in merchandising, presentation, and product availability
• establish and implement rostering and staff scheduling
• ensure strong relationships with suppliers and team members

You will have:

• An NZQF level 5 qualification or 3 years relevant work experience
• Sound SAP and Excel capabilities to achieve supermarket financial KPI's
• Current forklift license
• Proven decision-making abilities with exceptional organisational, presentation and planning skills

These are permanent full-time roles. Remuneration will be between $28 - $38 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Reporting to the Store Manager. You will need to be available to work in weekends.
