About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager ANZ to join our dynamic team at Premier Tapes NZ Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our customer base across Australia and New Zealand. Working from our office in Henderson, Auckland, you will play a crucial part in the ongoing success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand markets
  2. Developing and executing effective sales strategies to acquire new customers
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
  4. Preparing and presenting compelling sales proposals and pitches
  5. Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop innovative campaigns and promotions
  6. Analysing market trends and competitor activities to identify growth potential
  7. Providing regular reports on sales performance and pipeline development

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role within a similar industry of 10+ years
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others
  3. Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior-level stakeholders
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities
  5. Driven and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  6. Technical knowledge of the products and applications in the growing infrastructure segments of energy, telecommunications, and construction
  7. Visiting customers in the field and training them with the applications of our products
  8. Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required
