Job Description
Join as a general assembler in our header shop on our Sub-Assembly line, where you'll be responsible for Brazing the copper pipes & headers, cleaning pipes in a machine & operating light machinery to cut and bend pipes for air conditioner manufacturing. This role operates from 3:15pm - 11:15pm, Monday - Friday. Reporting to the Sub-Assembly Line Supervisor, this busy, hands-on role includes the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities
- Brase and fabricate sub assembled components when cover is required
- Operate small cutter & hand bending
- Follow job sheets and engineering drawings
- Demonstrate and adhere to safe work practices
- Inspect components for quality assurance before delivery to the next department
- Provide flexibility by working in all areas of production as needed
Qualifications
You will have experience and skillsets in the following:
- Experience with Brazing & machines for pipe work, cutting, and bending
- Ability to understand drawings specifying pipe length and diameter
- Computer literacy for programming machines
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Good team player with reliable attendance
