About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our engineering projects in New Zealand. This role involves assisting with the planning, design, and execution of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate collaborates effectively across teams and contributes to problem-solving and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Assist with technical design, documentation, and reporting.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Previous experience in project engineering or technical coordination is a plus.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with engineering software and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local standards and safety regulations is advantageous.
