About the role

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to lead our procurement operations, manage vendor performance, and oversee all freight activities. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement, this role is responsible for managing company procurement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring company-wide compliance throughout the full procurement cycle, from supplier selection to purchase order and delivery. This role will also be responsible for monitoring and managing Fujifilm Business Innovations' transport partners against their KPIs and rate cards, and address any issues to ensure a highly proficient supply chain and excellent customer experience within budget.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and service
  • Lead vendor onboarding, performance evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, corporate services, etc.) on their procurement requirements
  • Monitor our machine delivery partners nationwide. Ensure adherence to key KPIs for delivery and removals. Recommend opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Escalate and follow up any failings as advised by the order fulfilment and/or engineering teams with the vendors management
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure value, reliability, quality, and compliance
  • Check Vendor (recycling, local freight, warehousing, international) invoices each month against rate cards for correctness

Skills & experience

The ideal candidate will have an excellent background in logistics. Along with this, you will also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, procurement or related field will be advantageous 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Freight management, Procurement and Vendor management

  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and rates with carriers

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities

  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems
