Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity
In this role, you will be dealing with a high volume of tasks to support the Asset Managers and Portfolio Manager. You will ensure the existing asset portfolio is effectively managed to meet the strategic targets of Kāinga Ora.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the portfolio, managing the upgrade and maintenance programmes and measuring the performance of the housing stock in such a way as to ensure that the assets are ready to let, customer-worthy and meeting the current and future tenant needs.

Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu - What You Will Bring
You will be exceptionally organised and show willingness and enthusiasm to work at pace in a high volume environment. You will also demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of the management of residential property assets, real estate, construction and property investment
  • Knowledge of property legislation including the Fencing Act, Resource Management Act, Residential Tenancies Act and Unit Titles Act
  • Strong understanding of Certificate of Titles including mortgage, easements and other interests recorded on the title
  • Well-honed negotiation skills to negotiate objections (cross notice) and legal financial contributions subject to the Fencing Act 1978
  • Computer literacy in all Microsoft products, with above average competency in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to influence and develop relationships internally and externally
