We're on the lookout for a skilled, motivated Auto Electrician or Mechanic to join our Ashburton branch, where no two days are the same. At Nationwide RV, we work with leading motorhome and caravan brands including Auto-Trail (UK) and Rollerteam (Italy). Our family-owned business prides itself on delivering top quality workmanship and exceptional service to RV owners across New Zealand.


What You'll Be Doing

You'll take care of a wide range of work on modern RVs — from pre-delivery checks and annual inspections to upgrades, warranty work and installations.

Every job is different, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow your skills across mechanical, electrical, and custom fit-out work.

If you've got a background in Mechanical or Auto Electrical you'll fit right in. We'll provide full training on RV-specific systems, so industry experience isn't required — just a good attitude, pride in your work, and a willingness to learn.

What We're Looking For

  • Trade background in Mechanical or Auto Electrical
  • Great problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Excellent customer service and communication
  • Current Class 1 Driver's Licence
  • Team player with good time management

Bonus Skills & Interests

  • 230V electrical or gas knowledge
  • Building, joinery or plumbing experience
  • NZ vehicle compliance understanding
  • First Aid certification
  • Interest in camping, travel or the outdoors
