About the Role
As a Payroll Data Integrity Advisor, you will be administering and advising recovery of overpayments to employees. You will investigate and audit payroll data integrity to advise on, and coordinate improvements in the integrity of payroll data collected, held and managed in the payroll systems.
This is an exciting, wide-ranging role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that will see you working on a variety of tasks within the Payroll team, focusing on recovery of payroll overpayments.
Youll have the opportunity to showcase your analytical, time and task management capabilities, as well as your attention to detail and accuracy.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the PSA National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), professional development and wellness support.

About you
As a Payroll Data Integrity Advisor, you will have:
- A Diploma Level 6 or relevant work experience
- At least 5 years experience in working with electronic payroll systems and processes, preferably in a large organisation.
- An understanding of human resource and payroll related legislation as it applies to the Health Service.
- The ability to interpret and apply collective and individual agreements in relation to pay
- A high Level of computer skill and use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to undertake Shift work if and when needed
- PeopleSoft and OneStaff experience would be advantageous
- NZ or health sector payroll processing and Kiwisaver, Superannuation/IRD knowledge would be advantageous
