About the Role
As a Manual Machinist, you will need to have the following competencies and skills:
- Operate and maintain manual lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
- Work from engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances.
- Communicate and collaborate to solve engineering problems and delight customers.

What We're Looking For
As a Manual Machinist, you need to have the following competencies and skills:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a manual machining role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A proactive attitude and good communication skills.
The following skills would also be an advantage:
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Solid understanding of CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Welding proficiency (MIG, TIG, Arc), sheet metal fabrication, use of fabrication tools, and material knowledge.
