Vehicle Groomer / Team Leader – Palmerston North

Are you highly organised, hands-on, and ready to lead by example? We're looking for a motivated Vehicle Groomer / Team Leader to join our Palmerston North Service Department, working with leading automotive brands Mazda, Subaru, and JAC.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about cars and customer service, with full training provided.


About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising and motivating the Service grooming team to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Checking in new vehicle stock as it arrives, inspecting for damage or missing parts.
  • Washing, vacuuming, and preparing customer vehicles.
  • Assisting with vehicle deliveries and customer interactions.
  • Supporting the service team with various day-to-day tasks as required.

You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard while maintaining a positive, efficient team environment.


About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Physically active and enjoys hands-on work.
  • Reliable, honest, and takes pride in their work.
  • Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

You'll also have:

  • A clean, tidy appearance and professional attitude.
  • A full, clean driver's licence (ability to drive manual vehicles essential).

Hours & Benefits

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm and rostered Saturdays.
