About the role

Devine Technology is seeking a talented IT Technician / Engineer to join our dedicated team in Napier, Hawkes Bay. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and project implementation to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' information technology systems.

What you'll be doing

• Providing first-line troubleshooting and technical support for hardware and software issues
• Performing regular maintenance and upgrades on computer systems, networks, and related equipment
• Configuring and deploying new hardware and network solutions
• Adhering to established technical processes and procedures
• Collaborating with the internal team and third-parties to identify and resolve complex IT problems
• Maintaining accurate records and inventory of IT assets
• Following best practices and industry standards for IT service delivery

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT Technician or Engineer
• Understanding of networking principles and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
