Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi – About the Role

This position teaches within the Sport, Health Promotion and Nutrition specializations of the Bachelor of Applied Science. The ideal candidate will have expertise in health, exercise, and sport psychology and be able to teach across Levels 4–7 in areas such as nutrition, health promotion, and sport science. The ideal candidate will also have an established or developing research profile and track record. Responsibilities include developing course materials, assessing student work, contributing to research, and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • A postgraduate qualification with emphasis on health, sport, and exercise psychology or a related discipline
  • Related work experience in fields relevant to position. Those with a recent postgraduate qualification may be considered for this role.
  • A commitment to supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.
  • Digital literacy including – competence using Microsoft office products

  • Works collaboratively and co-operatively, contributes to teams.
