Job Description

We are looking for a Bin Auditor based at our branch in Christchurch.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking daily bin audits and education of kerbside wheelie bins.

Key responsibilities will include

• Undertake labouring duties that may include loading, unloading, collecting and sorting of waste.
• Undertake and maintain a high standard of general housekeeping duties as directed and required.
• Complete all records, reporting and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
• Prepare and operate plant and equipment in accordance with company procedures. To assist and support other staff as directed.
• Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment are carried out as required. Including assistance with cleaning.
• Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality service at all times.
• Assisting in the cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles

Qualifications

To be successful in this role

You will be physically fit and strong, and able to work in wet or sunny conditions.

Our ideal candidate will have

• Class 1 driver's licence and experience in operating vehicles in congested areas; e.g. confident with reversing and going into narrow streets even with trailers
• Competent use of trailer
• High attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Understanding of operating procedures
• Self-motivated
• Have a strong Health & Safety focus
