Lead Developer

We are seeking a deep technical developer/architect with a passion for delivering digital transformation to join us as an Appian Lead Developer / Architect. In this role you will provide technical leadership and hands-on development across Appian platforms, delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

This role sits within our Information Services practice - one of four key areas at Tenzing, alongside Technology Services, Management Consulting, and Managed Services. The Information Services team partners with clients to deliver all things data including data science, data warehousing, and data migrations. We use proven methodologies along with industry leading technology to create scalable and sustainable data solutions tailored to our customer's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of BPM applications using Appian.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support business systems integration, data migration, and information management initiatives.
• Lead and participate in infrastructure design, security compliance, and risk assessments.
• Design and architect Appian solution.
• Lead the technical solution for proposal development and client workshops.
• Build expertise in Appian and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with designing and delivering complex Appian solutions and hold Appian certifications
• Strong understanding of product architecture and have proven experience in cloud solutions.
• Experience with integrations to other enterprise scale application.
• Proficiency in SQL, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to conduct technical workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Strong ability to understand client needs, solve complex problems, and deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
• Experience with agile delivery model
