Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
The Building System Delivery and Assurance team is responsible for a range of building regulatory functions involving regulatory compliance, monitoring and assurance, investigations, and service delivery.
These functions include contributing to customer education, contributing sound judgment and technical knowledge and informing decisions on product investigations, warnings and bans. This role calls for a focus on supporting compliance and monitoring functions across the team.

Skills and Experience Required
- Experience working in a regulatory compliance or enforcement environment and/or the building system
- Experience applying the policies and procedures associated with the regulatory processes that are relevant to this role
- Experience using your knowledge and judgment to give advice and influence decision making
- Ability to become a technical expert
- Ability to understand and apply knowledge of the Building Act and other relevant legislation to decision making
- Good project management skills and methodologies combined with technical writing ability
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Previous investigation experience desired however not essential
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
