Full time - 64 hours per Fortnight

Increasing inbuild in Island Bay and new patient registrations, we have a need for an extra part time Primary Healthcare Nurse, at Island Bay Medical Centre.

Our nurses are valued and work independently within our multi-disciplinary team to provide equitable, evidence based, patient centered holistic care.

Island Bay Medical Centre's remuneration is comparable to the CCDHB MECA

Our preferred candidate will be:

  • a registered nurse with a current practicing and CPR certificate.
  • committed to the values and principles of health equity.
  • a qualified independent vaccinator.
  • have primary health care experience.

Experience in primary care is important; however all applicants will be considered. Support to achieve/upskill will be given if needed to the right candidate.

Island Bay Medical Centre is committed to ongoing professional development and education.

Our nurses are employed under the Primary Health Care Nurses MECA and are paid according to their experience and additional skills under this agreement.
