About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager in our Wellington branch to manage a portfolio of client contracts in the greater Wellington Region and play a key role within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
You will be the key interface with clients, responsible for the management, guidance, and operational direction of the contract/s, ensuring that best practice contract management is implemented, stakeholder engagement fully undertaken, and projects delivered within expected and agreed contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management - building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Account Growth – ensure revenue is generated per customer as per the agreed budgets and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell additional services to existing clients.
- Client Retention – ensure clients are satisfied with TDG's services.
- Planning – develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Collaboration – work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Market Research – staying informed with the industry to understand client needs, competitor activity and market conditions.
About You
You will be a proactive, well organised individual capable of managing competing demands to ensure positive job and project outcomes are achieved. You will need to exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong understanding that collaboration, open and honest communication and exceptional planning are key to delivering client satisfaction on time and within budget. Note: Industry experience or related such as civil/construction is needed for this role.
You will have:
- Relevant Industry Experience essential
- Tertiary studies in business or related discipline desirable
- Two years account / contract management in similar industry desirable
- Two years' experience related to managing job budgets and creating quotes
- Sales experience related to strong client relationship management
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, to ensure repeat business
