The opportunity:- The KPMG Data and AI team leverage expertise in analytics, data engineering, data science, advanced visualisation and artificial intelligence to help our clients solve a range of challenges and effectively use insights.
- We're seeking a Data Consultant to support the way that we deliver projects to our clients. This role requires a self-starting and motivated person to produce the required high standard of deliverables.
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
- Assist in building the pipeline of projects for the team, through Business Development, networking and responding to requests for proposals.
- Be an adept translator, translating business requirements into technical deliverables
- Project manage and deliver data analytics, business intelligence (BI), artificial intelligence (AI) projects and analytics-as-a-service solutions, including resourcing, scoping, pricing and on-budget delivery
- Manage a team of consultants and data specialists to ensure efficient and high quality delivery of projects
- Performance manage / mentor junior staff members
- Have an agile mind-set and understand agile methodologies – you'll have the ability to pivot & adapt quickly
- Have an understanding of Data Governance and Risk frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work with cross functional teams to translate business issues into potential analytics solutions
- 5+ years hands-on experience, in a consulting role preferred
- Qualification in Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- Experience in managing and leading advanced analytics and business intelligence projects
- Experience in managing and leading statistical modelling, machine learning or AI projects
- Experience with implementing data and AI solutions and applications on cloud (e.g. data warehouses, data lakes, AI agents)
- High integrity and a professional background
- Deliver on objectives with a hands-on approach and be a collaborative team playe
