Private Nanny

Position: Full-Time Nanny

Location: 15 minutes from Taupō CBD (Lifestyle Block)

Pay Rate: $32–$34 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, caring, and reliable nanny to look after two young children (aged 1 and 3 years old) in our family home, located just 15 minutes from Taupō CBD on a small lifestyle block. This is a full-time position offering a supportive and welcoming environment for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for our 1-year-old and 3-year-old.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines including prepping the children's meals, naps, and playtime.
• Perform light household duties such as tidying children's areas, laundry, and general upkeep.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and positive environment for the children.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role (required).
• Full New Zealand driver's licence (required).
• Comfortable working in a home with animals (2 cats and 2 dogs).
• A warm, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent children is a plus.

Hours: Full-time (details to be discussed during interview)

Pay: $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience.
