Warehouse Team Member – Bidfood Christchurch (Islington)

Bidfood Christchurch has a great opportunity for permanent positions within our warehouse team, based at our Islington distribution centre.

We are seeking an experienced warehouse all-rounder to join our team. We are looking for strong, reliable, and motivated individuals who are ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive workplace.

Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Roster:      Monday to Friday, plus every second Saturday
  • Hours:      6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Loading trucks as required
  • Occasionally going out on delivery trucks as a runner to assist drivers with deliveries
  • Working efficiently to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch

What You'll Bring

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good physical fitness (frequent heavy lifting up to 25kg)
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

Requirements

  • Able to provide work references
  • Must agree to a Ministry of Justice background check
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
