As the System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in aligning our services with our customers' goals, offering guidance where needed to ensure technology supports each organisation's requirements. For our education customers, this means ensuring students' learning outcomes benefit from the technology we implement.

To meet these expectations, we empower quality staff who are not only technically skilled but also motivated to achieve results and ensure the success of every system or service we deliver. Their work ranges from day-to-day maintenance of networks and server environments to delivering high-quality projects in both on-premise and cloud-based technologies. We support our staff to continually grow their knowledge and skills across a broad range of technologies to keep their expertise up to date.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management and maintenance of complex customer environments
  • Development and Maintenance of system documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues for customers
  • Maintain software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance
  • Assist with server, system and infrastructure deployments and project
  • Communicate effectively at appropriate levels to customers and internal staff regarding technical descriptions, issues or related tasks
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Any other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience
  • Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills required
  • Installation and administration of networking; switching, and wireless systems
  • Understanding of networking; switching, and wireless systems
  • Experience with O365 platform services; Entra ID, Endpoint Manager
  • MAC OSX and IOS
  • Working knowledge of Windows servers, desktops and other various software applications
  • Understanding and application of Responsible AI
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite, and friendly manner - both written and verbally
  • Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a potentially high stress environment
  • Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions without question

RECOMMENDED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management systems
  • Experience with Google G Suite
