Role Description

We are seeking a Network Support Engineer for a full-time on-site role based in Auckland. The Network Support Engineer will handle daily tasks such as managing network infrastructure, administering network systems, overseeing network security, and providing technical support for complex network-related issues. They will troubleshoot network problems, deploy solutions, and ensure optimal performance of IT systems while maintaining high standards of reliability and security.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration and maintenance of network devices.
  • Experience in Network Engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing network solutions.
  • Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues effectively and promptly.
  • Expertise in Network Security to safeguard infrastructure and ensure data protection.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with teams and respond to issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage operations in a hands-on manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are a plus.
