We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Inwards Goods Assistant to join our team in Feilding. We run a well-equipped hospital offering a wide range of surgeries and advanced treatment options for our clients for both production and domestic animals.

This role will provide support to the procurement team by assisting with inventory management as well as a client services component.

Ideally, we are looking for a person who has the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in stock/inventory management.
  • A passion for customer service, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to use initiative
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on detail and going the extra mile

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in monitoring and maintaining stock levels
  • Assist in ordering and receiving orders
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels
  • Providing first point of contact for our clients and visitors
  • Booking appointments for clients
  • Answering animal health questions
  • Telephone contact and follow-up calls
  • Providing sales advice and product knowledge
  • Administration support for our veterinarians

Previous experience within a customer service, veterinary or agricultural sector would be advantageous; however, training will be given to the right person who has the ability to fit in and contribute to the team environment.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday within clinic hours.
