March Cato are a civil engineering business working in greater Auckland region to deliver 3 Waters projects for our clients. This work includes pipe-jacking, tunnelling, deep open trenching, sheet piling, and shaft construction. All roles for March Cato are in service of delivering 3 waters infrastructure, which is our core business.

We require the services of a Drainage Labourer to join one of our drainage crews.

Applicants must have the following:

  • A minimum of two years experience working on 3 waters projects.
  • May require/check immunizations for work in sewer lines.
  • Experience in pipelaying and familiar with TBM operations.
  • Knowledge of working around services.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • An attitude to come to work and learn.
  • Fit, healthy and able to help with physical work.
  • A commitment to Health & Safety.

Your role will involve the following

  • Help crews to lay pipe.
  • Working to assist with site crews.
  • Hand digging around services.
  • Spotting excavators, trucks, and other items of plant.
  • Assisting with the excavation, shoring, pipelaying, backfilling and road reinstatement activities.
  • General site house keeping.
