We're looking for an experienced joiner/woodworker to help deliver high-quality architectural projects. You'll be hands-on in the workshop, producing and assembling timber and panel components to specification. The role includes working from drawings, operating tools and machinery, and collaborating with the wider production team to get jobs completed accurately and on time.
Day to day, you'll:
- Read and work from shop drawings.
- Cut, assemble, and finish joinery components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely.
- Prepare and check parts for finishing or installation.
- Keep the workshop safe, tidy, and efficient.
- Solve problems and adapt to custom project requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential qualities:
- Proven experience in joinery, cabinetry, or a related trade.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and technical instructions.
- Strong craftsmanship skills with a high attention to detail.
- Practical, hands-on approach with problem-solving ability.
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality and safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Valuable qualities:
- Experience with architectural or bespoke joinery projects.
- Familiarity with a wide range of timbers, veneers, and finishes.
- Skills in setting up and operating workshop machinery.
- Experience in on-site installation or coordination with construction teams.
- Knowledge of adhesives, fixings, and modern joinery techniques.
