Port Melbourne | Executive package on offer | Relocation Support
We are seeking an exceptional Head of People and Culture to join a rapidly expanding global technology and engineering group (400+ employees worldwide). This newly created executive role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement the global People & Culture function from the ground up, unify cultures across acquired businesses, and deliver strategic initiatives that enable growth and engagement across the Asia Pacific region.
Why Join Us
• A seat at the executive table with significant influence, reporting to the Global CEO
• A genuine greenfield People & Culture mandate
• The opportunity to impact a growing global organisation
• Exceptional executive package including annual LTI and STI's
The Opportunity
As Head of People and Culture, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to build a modern People & Culture framework that supports integration, engagement, and high performance. Reporting directly to the Global CEO, you will work closely with the CFO and business leaders to design the organisational people structure, lead cultural transformation, and implement systems and processes that scale with growth. This is a true greenfield mandate with the ability to make a lasting impact on the organisation's future.
Key Focus Areas
• Build the People Function: Design and implement a scalable People & Culture structure, policies, and processes for a global business.
• Global HRIS Rollout: Scope, Research, Select, Implement, and Embed a single HRIS platform across all regions.
• Cultural Integration & Engagement: Lead programs to unify cultures, break down silos, and improve retention across all Asia Pacific businesses.
• Talent & Workforce Planning: Develop recruitment, onboarding, and succession strategies for a multi-site, contractor-heavy workforce.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Standardize employment contracts and ensure adherence to global employment legislation.
• Change Leadership: Drive change readiness and manage resistance during integration and transformation initiatives.
Who You Are
You are a strategic, high-EQ leader with experience in complex, multi-site organisations (engineering, contracting, services, or technology). Collaborative and influential, you thrive on creating clarity and cohesion in evolving organisations and building trust across cultures. You are equally comfortable designing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to implement it.
