About the Role

We're looking for a Community Caseworker to work closely with complex clients, whānau, and community partners to remove barriers, promote independence, and deliver support grounded in Te Whare Tapa Whā and Enabling Good Lives principles.
Your role will include assisting us to shape and develop our residential and community living models of service to demonstrate these principles.
Hours are flexible to suit the role, with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with complex clients and whānau to develop holistic, person-centred care plans.
- Support and assist in the growth ofa range of residential living models focused on client choice and independence.
- Lead and mentor coaches and support workers to deliver high-quality care and wellbeing outcomes.
- Build and maintain partnerships with Government and community agencies to enhance funding and service opportunities.
- Oversee client onboarding and engagement, ensuring accurate data and documentation.
- Provide management support through reporting, client feedback follow-up, and operational updates.
- Promote a proactive culture of Health & Safety and wellbeing within the workplace.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is hands-on, with a strong sense of purpose and the ability to inspire others.
You will bring:
- Proven relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with clients with complex needs and supporting them to navigate life and services.
- A sound understanding of the disability or community support sector.
- Confidence in facilitating and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
- A positive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
- Understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Enabling Good Lives.
