The Opportunity:
- We are happy for this role to be based anywhere in New based in Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Wellington, Canterbury or Otago at one of our Proactive sites.
The National Clinical Lead for Voc Rehab is a role held alongside a senior clinical role within Proactive, i.e. you will hold a clinical case load. The role is responsible for supporting a clear understanding of ACC contractual requirements within the Voc Portfolio and that all contractual obligations are met in an effective and efficient manner and are delivered by our clinical staff. The National Clinical Lead will work alongside the National Portfolio Lead, GM, quality team and systems improvement team relating to operational guidelines, training materials and reporting metrics for TI. They will be a resource for others across Proactive where there are technical and clinical contract queries to ensure conformance and consistency across Proactive.
The role will:
- Support and deliver on Proactive's Voc Rehab plan and vision, with performance measures and deliverables set annually.
- Drive business growth by supporting referral volumes and the ability to grow the service.
- Support the delivery of a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement whilst maintaining contractual compliance and effective service delivery.
- Support the Voc interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care.
- Facilitate and lead local IDT meetings.
- Oversee the quality of service delivery and implement improvements where needed.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with Regional Manager and Team Leads to support individual staff members.
- Alongside Portfolio Lead coordinate and deliver service provider training, coaching and mentoring in voc rehab practice and ACC service.
- Quality control, benchmarking and direction to regions
- Work with partners (eg ABI, Smart Rehab, AIM, Occ Health ACC, GPs) to support opportunities to raise Proactive profile and reputation in Voc Service Delivery
- Facilitate and assurance of compliance to efficient, best practice operating procedures by service providers.
- Maintaining up to date resources to ensure delivery of best practice
