Join us as we transform the way customers experience digital banking. We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You'll lead up to two squads, balancing hands on coding with leadership responsibilities. Your role will include shaping processes, mentoring engineers, and driving continuous improvement. Working alongside product owners, designers, architects, and engineers, you'll:
- Deliver innovative, high quality digital experiences.
- Apply modern engineering practices to build scalable solutions.
- Align technical decisions with business priorities and roadmap goals.
- Reduce technical debt and remove delivery blockers early.
- Foster a collaborative, positive team culture.
- Define sprint goals that meet customer needs and strategic objectives.
- Provide accurate effort estimates by understanding end to end delivery and system dependencies.
The role involves approximately 50% hands on engineering and 50% leadership, with flexibility based on squad priorities.

We're after a seasoned engineer who combines technical depth with strong leadership. You'll have:
- 10+ years in full stack development, delivering scalable web and mobile solutions.
- Expertise in Java, React, and mobile technologies.
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
- Solid understanding of service layers, networking, and UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with tools like Micronaut, ForgeRock, Finacle, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Selenium, Cucumber, Kubernetes, SonarQube.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, debugging, and API integration.
- Agile and DevOps experience.
- Strong problem solving skills and resilience.
