About the role

Skillford and co limited' is seeking experienced Class 4+5 Civil Truck Drivers to join our team in Christchurch Central Canterbury. We offer a wide range of flexible employment opportunities to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating and maintaining a range of class 4 and 5 civil vehicles and equipment
  2. Transporting materials, plant and equipment to and from job sites
  3. Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles
  4. Performing pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vehicles
  5. Working collaboratively with the wider construction team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
  6. Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Valid Class 4 and 5 driver's licence
  2. Proven experience operating a range of heavy commercial vehicles and civil construction equipment
  3. Knowledge of relevant road rules and transport regulations
  4. Excellent driving skills and attention to detail
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  6. Commitment to safety and environmental best practices
