The Bids and Pursuits Partner leads the coordination of resources and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, complex submissions, combining strong project management, persuasive writing, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines and leverage AI tools for greater efficiency.

  • Lead Bid Management: Partner with Capture Managers to coordinate the full pursuit lifecycle—planning, development, submission, post-submission, and client interviews—ensuring compliance with client requirements and AECOM brand standards.
  • Develop Compelling Content: Write and edit submissions, refine value propositions, integrate insights, and collaborate with creative teams to deliver clear, persuasive, and visually engaging bid materials.
  • Shape Bid Positioning: Work with Clients & Marketing Advisors and business leaders to develop capture plans and pursuit positioning through research, analysis, and lessons learned.
  • Drive Excellence & Consistency: Establish bid schedules, implement best-practice templates, manage reviews, and provide training to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge & Resource Management: Maintain and enhance content libraries, pursuit collateral, and Salesforce-based processes to support future bids and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

  • Degree in marketing (or related field) with 8+ years' experience, including leading bids/projects and coordinating stakeholders in demanding environments.
  • Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AdobeExpress, Salesforce, and related tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leaders, influence stakeholders, and advise across all levels.
  • Proven problem-solving, time management, and ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Client-focused, highly collaborative, strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
