Job Description

At Mövenpick Hotel Wellington, every detail is designed to delight, from our daily Chocolate Hour at 4pm, where guests savour an hour of unlimited decadent treats, to dining experiences that unfold against breathtaking views over the city.

We're seeking a Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendant with a passion for creating memorable moments through genuine service, warm hospitality, and a sprinkle of everyday indulgence.

You will:

  • Greet and welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism
  • Take orders and offer thoughtful recommendations that enhance each dining experience.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately with care and confidence.
  • Ensure tables are beautifully presented and maintained to Mövenpick's high standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries with positivity and a proactive approach.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to deliver seamless and joyful service.
  • Process payments efficiently and accurately.

This role is Part-Time Permanent (Minimum 15 hours per week)

The successful candidate must be available to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but passion and personality matter most.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and collected.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow in the world of hospitality.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Eligibility to work legally in New Zealand.
  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
