About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 4 Driver to join our team in Christchurch. As a Class 4 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely across various locations.

This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and upholding high standards of safety and service.

What You'll Do

  • Pick up and deliver airfreight shipments from Christchurch Airport and other key sites
  • Safely operate a Class 4 truck
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service during every interaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 4 vehicles to transport goods to various destinations
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Adhere to all road safety and company regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required

Pay Rates

  • Mondays - Fridays - $31.50
  • Saturdays - $32.45
  • Sundays - $33.35
  • Public Holidays - $47.25

About You:

  • Must hold a valid Class 4 driver's license
  • Proven experience as a Class 4 Driver or similar role
  • Strong understanding of road safety and regulations
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle and transport goods safely
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
