- You excel at coordinating, analyzing, and investigating security incidents, determining root causes, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- You remain calm and professional under pressure, consistently delivering high‑quality outcomes.
- You proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance organizational security and positively impact business objectives.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, BTL1, SAL1, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
- You have a strong foundational understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network security principles, and are familiar with both Windows and Linux environments.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to continually pass the security vetting process and hold New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, and embodying a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Availability and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including overnight shifts, as CDOC operates 24/7.
- Fluent and articulate in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for client engagement.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and keeping abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Cyber Security focus preferred), or equivalent industry experience
